Rogues may be the most hated class in PvP. Why? Because they’re so darn good at taking down opponents, often without their foe even getting a chance to fight back. But not even Rogues are invulnerable. Understanding your strengths and weaknesses will make you a much more fearsome PvP foe. Let’s look at your Rogue’s strengths first.
Rogue PvP Strengths
I’ll say it right out. Few classes are as effective, or as feared in PvP. Choosing your greatest strength is hard because you have so many of them. If you can learn to execute them properly, your Stunlocks are brutal. Built around a combination of attacks, a well-executed stunlock will leave your opponent helpless, literally standing there in a daze while you slaughter them. Learn to do this right, and if you have a good Rogue PvP build, few will be able to stand up to you.
Many would say that your poisoning skills are your greatest strength. Even when your enemies run away, you’ve got options. Use your Crippling Poison to slow them down, and your Mind Numbing Poison to mess up their spell casting. When you put these together with all your Rogue’s other strengths and abilities and it is easy to see why everyone hates you.
Rogue PvP Weaknesses
One big weakness of being a Rogue in large battles is that other players don’t like you very much. Most players have been terminated while left helpless by stunlocks and poison. They will be happy to take you down. This can make you a target, as most players will happily help when it comes to taking out an enemy Rogue.
Beyond the fact that everyone hates you, your character’s biggest weakness is the complexity of executing a stunlock. If you get distracted by some Hunter’s pet, or the Shaman you’re after gets their Earthshield up in time, and you could be in trouble. Also, remember that you need to get in close. Let a ranged fighter keep their distance, and they’ll rip you to pieces.
These are just the basics of Rogue strategy, strengths, and weaknesses in PvP. Most decent players can do well in PvP with just basic Rogue strategy. But to really dominate you need more than that. An excellent Rogue PvP build will be crucial, as will great Rogue strategy ideas for PvP. A Roge PvP guide can help you with things like talent builds, Rogue PvP gear selection, specifics of killing each opposing class, and more.
Learning the strengths and weaknesses of your Rogue is one great way to improve your performance in PvP combat. To learn more about this and other PvP techniques in a guide that has helped others generate a 2214 Arena Rating in weeks, just Click Here.

Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of your Warlock is the fundamental secret of success in WoW PvP combat. That’s not to say this is all you need to know. There’s so much more than that if you really want to claw your way to the top of the heap. But if you don’t really understand your Warlock’s basic PvP strengths and weaknesses, nothing else will matter much. Since this is so important, let’s examine your Warlock’s strengths and weaknesses in PvP combat.
Warlock PvP Strengths
I can tell you from personal experience that Warlocks can be formidable opponents in PvP. Your Warlock’s greatest strengths are your DoT (Damage over Time) spells, and your ability to Fear your enemies. In plain English, your character’s strength is the way they can cause their enemies to lose health over a period of time, then cause the victim to run around the battlefield in terror while they die.
Another strength of your Warlock when going against magic users is the Felhunter. Target this pet at an enemy caster and you’ll make his life miserable.
Warlock PvP Weaknesses
Unfortunately for you, your character does also have weaknesses in PvP . Some classes (Mages, for example) can break your Fear spells and counter your DoT spells. Against these pests, you’ll need to have some direct damage types of spells. You’ll burn up lots of mana fighting these guys, so a spell like Life Tap will prevent you from running out of mana before your foe does. Running out of mana in PvP is a fatal mistake.
That covers the basic PvP Strengths and Weaknesses of your Warlock. But there’s much more to learn if you really want to rise to the top in PvP. You can eventually gain the information you need yourself, but a quality PvP guide can give you far more information, including specific instructions for dealing with foes that can resist your DoTs and crowd control.

PvP combat is in your Hunter’s future, even if you’ve avoided it so far. Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) has brought a new emphasis to World of Warcraft’s World PvP. There’s now a real time PvP battle zone called Lake Wintergrasp. There, the emphasis is on real-time World PvP. There players battle on the live server to earn points they can use to buy rare and valuable items such as the new Heirloom items that any of the player’s characters in that account regardless of that character’s level can use.
With Lake Wintergrasp’s high popularity, and the increasing amount of PvP combat in other popular games, you’ll surely see more even more PvP in WoW in the future. Here’s what you need to know to handle your Hunter in this new world:
If you want to be a Hunter in PvP combat, it would be helpful to have the instincts of a hunter. That’s because you’re going to need to be able to pick out your next target and understand how it will behave in various situations. Then you need to use this knowledge to stalk and kill it. You need to understand the capabilities of your character and its gear, as well as the tactical situation. Then you need to maneuver into position and terminate your prey with extreme prejudice before it can take you down. In WoW PvP, it’s much the same, except that your prey is smarter and more cunning than any animal.
However, in Hunter PvP combat, there are issues that no real-world hunter has to deal with. Understanding the best time to employ your Freezing and Frost Traps and essential crowd control devices is one thing. You need to know how to manage the space between you and your prey to cause the most possible DPS damage in each duel. And you must do all this against an intelligent character, rather than a wild animal.
If you want to be really successful in Hunter PvP combat, you need to know the strategy and tactics for killing each class of opponent. It’s particularly important to understand how Druids, Warriors, and Rogues are most likely to come at you. And you need to know how to counter those classes that can charge into melee combat range quickly, such as Warriors and Rogues.
You can learn much of what you need to win as a Hunter in PvP simply by spending time in the arena. But I can tell you from personal experience that if you try, you had better be prepared to get defeated regularly and be humiliated for a long time. You don’t want to know how many hours I spent at the bottom of the standings in the arena before I finally started getting the hang of it. Once I started reading a Hunter PvP Guide, I started climbing in the standings rapidly.
Because a top notch PvP Guide contains the hard-earned combat experience of veteran Hunters, it will contain strategies and tactics that are not obvious to newer players. In short, a good PvP Guide will save you a big block of time you would otherwise have to spend dying in battle before you become good at PvP combat.

The latest WoW PvP Guide on the market is the PvP Bible by T. Dub, author of several great World of Warcraft guides and videos. With WotLK adding 10 new levels and extra battlegrounds, PvP Bible is being talked about quite a bit these days. The guide is impressive, with a ton of well written, quality content. I expected nothing less, as all of T. Dubs other products are of exceptional quality as well. If you have any of them, then you know what I’m talking about.
PvP Bible goes into great detail covering every inch of World of Warcraft PvP with over 50,000 words in the guide. You won’t find a bunch of useless filler or repeated junk found on forums. You get strategies for all 81 dual possibilities, over 50 arena strategies, complete coverage of every battleground, and all World PvP Objectives. Nothing is left out of this World of Warcraft PvP Guide. Talents and gear for each class is totally laid out for you so you know exactely what to be using. This is the most comprehensive WoW PvP guide I have come across.
MMORPG’s are changing all the time with patches and expansions. World of Warcraft PvP is often affected quite a bit by these changes. This makes a WoW PvP guide worthless for any long periods of time, unless it gets updated frequentley. PvP Bible is always being updated with any changes to WoW, and at the moment is totally up to date with Wrath of the Lich King.
You do not need PvP experience to use this WoW PvP guide, so it is perfect for first time PvPers. It gives you a complete introduction to PvP with everything you need to know before moving on to the advanced strategies and tactics in the guide for the more experienced players.
If you are just starting off in PvP, or looking to take your character to higher levels of play, then PvP Bible is the best World of Warcraft PvP Guide to do just that.

Has your character ever found himself or herself being ganked by characters from the other faction before you even knew your character had the PvP flag set? Or maybe you were luckier and happened to glance at your character portrait and notice your PvP flag was set and you had to scramble to a safe area until it reset? Knowing how your character gets into PvP mode can literally mean the difference between life and death for your character. So let’s talk about how you get into PvP mode.
First, you need to understand that how you get into PvP depends on the kind of server you’re on. If your server is a Normal (sometimes called “truce”) realm, there are fewer ways to get into PvP mode than if you’re playing in a PvP realm. We’ll cover the ways for a Normal realm first.
Your character will end up in PvP mode in a Normal realm if:
- You attack a player character (PC) of the opposite faction who is in PvP mode themself.
- You help (by using a beneficial spell or ability on them) a PC from your faction who happens to be in PvP mode. In other words, you help someone who is fighting and you become fair game.
- You attack a Non-Player Character (NPC) guard or civilian that is a member of the opposing faction.
- You bravely enter an enemy capital city.
- You enter a battleground.
- You enter Gurubashi Arena or one of the other free-for-all PvP areas where you can attack anyone, even if they’re from your own faction.
- You put your character into PvP mode intentionally by typing /pvp. Even if you immediately type /pvp again to exit PvP mode, your character will remain in PvP mode for 5 minutes (see the following explanation).
How ever your character ended up in PvP mode, they will remain in that mode until 5 minutes after their last action that could put them into PvP mode. So if your character went into Gurubashi Arena, the PvP flag would remain on the entire time your character is in there, not clearing until 5 minutes after they left the arena (unless they did something else to trigger PvP mode).
In a PvP Realm
If your character is in a PvP realm, all the conditions we just talked about apply. Beyond that, there are two more conditions that will raise your character’s PvP flag:
- Entering a Contested zone.
- Entering an Enemy zone.
So think back, my friend, to that time you discovered that your character was in PvP mode. With a little effort, you can probably figure out which of the above conditions you accidentally triggered to set the PvP flag. Now all you need to know is how to best defend yourself in PvP mode, whether you get there accidentally or on purpose.
Eventually your character will end up in PvP mode, so you might as well be able to stomp your foes when you are. To learn everything you need to know, including the most current strategies & tactics that will show you how to dominate all aspects of PvP, visit PvP-Bible.info

When people start talking about PvP combat, it soon becomes clear that there are various settings where it can happen. This short guide to the settings will make it easier for you to find PvP combat when you want it, as well as understand what others mean when they talk about battlegrounds or World PvP or whatever. Keep reading for a super-fast introduction to each setting:
Duels
Duels are voluntary one-on-one battles between players. You don’t have to be on a PvP server to duel, but you can’t duel within cities. One of the best places to find someone to duel against is the entrance to any major city, which is where duelists often hang out looking for someone to challenge.
The Battlegrounds
Horde and Alliance go at it in the battlegrounds, competing to win battles and earn marks. You can use marks sort of like money, and trade them in for various items, including better PvP gear. You can only use marks at the special PvP vendor shops.
Arenas
Arena combat is organized team versus team combat in the form of an ongoing tournament. Teams (2v2, 3v3, 5v5) battle against other teams of the opposing faction as well as against teams of their own faction. You become a member of a team to fight in the arena and earn Arena Points as a team.
Random Combat
Any time you encounter a player from the other faction who has their PvP flag on, you can do battle with them. In PvP realms, you PvP flag is automatically on, except when you are in certain protected areas. You can manually turn your PvP flag on and off by typing /pvp. Regardless of what you do, various situations and locations will turn your PvP flag on automatically, even if you aren’t playing in a PvP realm.
World PvP Combat
If you visit the Eastern Plaguelands, Silithus, Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh, Terokkar Forest, or Nagrand, you will find goals that require PvP combat. If you want to achieve those goals, you had better be ready to fight.
PvP Zones
Wintergrasp is the first of a new type of zone that is totally dedicated to PvP combat. This zone seems to be real popular, so expect more like it in the future.
What Next?
You should now have a basic understanding of the different settings where you can find PvP combat. But if you want to dominate PvP combat, or even hold your own against more experienced players, there’s a lot more you should learn. To learn everything you need to know, including the most current strategies & tactics you can use to dominate all aspects of PvP, visit PvP-Bible.info
