Spotting DJ Cadence in Club Penguin

Wednesday Sep 9, 2009

DJ Cadence is a famous penguin in the Club Penguin game. She made her first appearance in the game when Club Penguin introduced the Dance Contest game. This was during the Member Party in early 2009. She is a pink penguin and she has a scarf around her neck. Most players know her from the Dance Contest game in the Night Club. She introduces that game. During big parties and events, she might also show up in the game as a celebrity penguin. Players have a chance to greet her during these special appearances. She also gives out a special autographed background for penguin player cards.

Her first appearance in Club Penguin as a famous visiting penguin was during the Member Party in the beginning of 2009. She appeared on the roof of the Night Club. This room was only available for paid members in the game. It was a temporary room that was created especially for this party, but it was brought back for the 2009 Club Penguin Music Jam Party in the summer. She visited that party as well.

It can be difficult to see DJ Cadence because she moves very quickly from server to server. She never stays on one server for a long time. She just visits and chats with penguins for a few minutes and then leaves for another server. Also, the server and room where she visits will fill up very quickly once everyone knows she’s there. Here are some ideas and tips to help with your search for DJ Cadence.

The first thing is to know that DJ Cadence will only appear on the top floor of the Night Club. You must be a paid member of the game to get to this area and if you are looking for her during Music Jam 2009, you have to buy an all-access pass at the Snow Forts first. You will only get to meet DJ Cadence if you are a member. The second thing to know is that because she moves quickly between all the servers and the rooms she visits fill up in seconds, it’s definitely a smart idea to choose a server that is not yet full and then wait for her to come to you. Even though this strategy can take a while and requires patience, it’s often very effective. Another thing to try is a DJ Cadence Tracker, which will help tell you which server she is on at any given moment.

With a little patience and luck, you will get to meet DJ Cadence. Don’t forget to click on her to get the free autographed player card she gives out.

The Medieval Party in Club Penguin

Monday Jun 29, 2009

One of the most entertaining things to do on the kids’s game Club Penguin is to visit the different events and parties that are given for the players. Parties and events are often held once each month and almost always have a theme, such as the {Christmas,St. Patrick’s,April Fool’s} Party or the Halloween Party. But one of the biggest parties each year is the Medieval Party, which was first held in 5/2008 and is planned again for May, 2009. Almost all of the rooms in the game are re-designed for the event and there are a lot of fun activities players can do.

The first Medieval Party occurred between May 16, 2008 and May 25, 2008. It was one of the biggest parties in Club Penguin history. Many of the rooms in the game were decorated. As with most parties on Club Penguin, one of the most popular things was the free item that was offered. In 2008, there were 2 things that penguins could obtain for free. The first free item was the Squire Tunic available at the Dock. The second one was a wizard hat which you got at the Lighthouse. The wizard hat was a repeat item that was first given out in the Halloween Party from 2006.

Some Popular Attractions at the 2008 Medival Party

Dragon in the Mines

One of the most popular attractions was a dragon that appeared inside the Mines. The Switchbox 3000 device, which normally appears at the Theatre Stage was relocated into the Mine to control the dragon.

Magic Mirror

At the Mountain there was a Magic Mirror which operated in a way similar to that of a “Magic 8″ ball.

Special Costumes

In the Penguin Style Catalog at the Gift Shop there was a dragon, knight and princess costume for member Penguins, medieval backgrounds and a secretnote from the party committee about preparing for this party. The costumes could be bought by members in Club Penguin.

TreeTop Fort

This room was a special room that only appeared during the Club Penguin Medieval Party. It was a place to hang out and have fun. One fun feature was a hole in the tree where different Puffles would appear and make faces at you.

The 2009 Medieval Party

The 2009 edition of the Club Penguin Medieval Party will be held from May 8, 2009 through May 17, 2009. Club Penguin has only released a few details about the party but it looks to be as big, if not bigger than last year’s!

Club Penguin Secret Agent Missions

Monday Jun 22, 2009

Club Penguin is a popular game for youth players that has many fun missions to do. You must be a member of the PSA to do them so if you haven’t become a secret agent yet and joined the Penguin Secret Agency you need to do that before you start the missions. The missions are all single-player experiences where you do the mission without encountering other players on Club Penguin. They are more like stories that you participate in. Here are some summaries of all the Club Penguin missions.

Case of the Missing Puffles

In the first Club Penguin mission, Aunt Arctic has lost her two puffles and you must go out and find them.

G’s Secret Mission

In the second mission on Club Penguin, G has invented a new sled, and you have to test G’s new sled. You end up lost after a crash, and have to learn how to survive in the wilderness.

Case of the Missing Coins

The Gift Shop has lost its coins from the vault and you must find out where they went. A card from Dancing Penguin, the owner of the Night Club, is obtainable if you accept G’s extra mini-mission and restore power to the Night Club.

Avalanche Rescue

You need to rescue some penguins who are stuck after an avalanche near the ski mountain.

Secret of the Fur

In this mission, you have to find the source of the mysterious fur that appeared at the scene of the previous mission.

Questions for a Crab

You’ll come face-to-face with Herbert the Polar Bear (the villain) in this mission. You’ll also find out all about Herbert’s story and how he ended up on the Club Penguin island. This mission is very entertaining.

Clockwork Repairs

You are asked to repair the broken clock. You’ll need to use your smarts to assemble replacement parts so that the clock will start ticking again and find out how it got broken in the first place.

Mysterious Tremors

Multiple earthquakes are rocking Club Penguin Island and it’s up to you to find out what’s going on and how to stop the quakes.

Operation: Spy and Seek

In this mission, you must place high-tech transmitters around the island to find where Herbert the polar bear is hiding and then locate him.

Waddle Squad

You will lead a team of agents in a major operation to trap Herbert and hopefully end his antics forever.

Viking Helmets on Club Penguin

Friday Jun 19, 2009

Club Penguin Viking Helmets

One of the most popular activities in the kids game Club Penguin is purchasing clothing in the Club Penguin clothing catalog, Penguin Style. The catalog is released every month with new items that players can purchase to dress up their penguins. The catalogs are also well-known for having secrets and hidden items that can be found by clicking on special parts of the catalog. They are often hidden in fun places in the illustrations inside the catalog. You can find them by moving your mouse around the catalog pages until it changes into a hand which means you can click on that spot. When you do, the secret item is revealed and can be purchased just like a normal clothing item in the catalog. These secret items change frequently, but one type of item can always be found hidden somewhere inside the pages of Penguin Style: the viking helmet.

You can find three viking helmets in Club Penguin. Two of them, the blue and the red viking helmets, appear every month in the clothing catalog in the gift shop. To get the red one, you must find the hidden location and click on it. To get the blue viking helmet, you click on the red viking helmet and then repeat the complete process of finding it and clicking on it three more times. The location of the red viking helmet changes every month, but it is always found somewhere inside the catalog.

The gold viking helmet is very rare and has only appeared twice in the game’s history. It was in the 2/2007 catalog and it again appeared in the October 2008 catalog. Those were the only two times in the history of Club Penguin that players were able to find it. It is a mystery if and when it will return again. Because it is so rare it is a very exciting piece of clothing to have for your penguin.
