We’ve a long history of gaming systems and hardware, and over the last two months we’ve spent the most of our time on two VR3 gaming seats! This ‘gaming revolution’ isn’t just another gaming chair, or gaming rocker - its the high end of gaming systems for the ultimate experience, combining playability and realism. This is a step change from the focus on graphics, to experience.

To really test the system, we installed the Logitech G25 steering wheel which delivers the ultimate in force feedback, and if you combine that with a good set of speakers to deliver the bass, then you have the ultimate machine. The VR3 racing seat is as expensive as it is fast, not for the feint hearted - but hey, its one hell of an experience. Gaming Rockers are fantastic, and a great laugh at the same time - but VisionRacer has the edge. For optimal performance of this gaming seat, you really need a 24″ LCD Screen and a good set of speakers - we used Logitech or our testing. Invest the few extra $$$ and upgrade your speakers and LCD screen, you’ll notice the difference. To get the most out of the system don’t for less than a 24″ LCD Screen and some reasonably priced speakers to get the desired effect - otherwise you’ll be devaluing the investment. If you are going to invest in this setup, we’d recommend getting a 3rd party in to make sure you get the most out of the system. At Gaming Seat we can provide home installation, supply and support if required. After playing for hours on end we found that we weren’t suffering from stiff joints or otherwise. VisionRacer is on its 3rd deisgn now, which is why its both comfortable and realistic. Design design design - thats the recurring theme we find in the Vision Racer gaming seat. Overall, the car seat combined with gear shift control and force feed back gave this gaming seat the thumbs up by everyone who tested it. The VisionRacer is currently under testing in a 3 Screen PC configuration running the G25 steering wheel (which is PC and PS3 Compatible). If you are undecided between the PS3 and PC as the engine, the steering wheel compatibility for PC’s and PS3’s is a useful consideration, which the G25 is. If you have young children, you’ll need a couple of cushions to shift them forward, though in all honesty, this isn’t a game for young children at this expense, its a serious investment for the die hard gamers. The VR3 is currently the top of our list at the moment - watch this space. The VisionRacer will do the Racing Game industry, what the Wii did to Console Games…its all good.
