These sordid creatures living in the lush barrens of central Kalimdor have been doing all they can to preserve the equilibrium between the restive element spirits and feral land creatures. This specific race possesses distinct abilities such as Cultivation, War Stomp, Nature Resistance and Endurance.

The next Horde race is the Undead. The Undead or the Forsaken are loyal to their Queen Sylvanas Windrunner. Their racial traits such as Underwater Breathing, Shadow resistance, Will of the Forsaken and Cannibalize are very advantageous when used at the right time. 

Lastly, we have the Orcs to complete the Horde side. Despite being not so positively-appealing, the Orcs are considered the most productive and creative races of Azeroth.  They have always been at war with the Humans. What makes the Orcs an even tougher opponents are their special traits—Axe Specialization, Blood Fury, Command and Hardiness.

Is it hard to level up Engineering?

Engineering is not like any other profession. It requires a lot of time but at the end it will definitely be worth it. If you want to speed up the leveling a bit you should take the Mining profession as well because you will need a lot of metal bars and gems. It is possible to level it even without Mining, but then the whole process will be much more expensive since you will need to buy the mats on the Auction House.

What can an Engineer make?

Engineers are famous for their items and creativity and are also known for their junk! However, some of the products made by Engineers proved to be very useful.

One of the notable products of Engineering are definitely the Field Repair Bots and Goblin Jumper Cables. The Repair Bots have proved to be very useful in instances and raids where all the players can repair after wipe and continue without the need to run out and repair somewhere else. Bots are used to speed up the process and make it more convenient.

Goblin Jumper Cables are particularly useful if you belong to a Hunter or a Rogue class. If their party dies, Rogues and Hunters can Stealth or Feign Death and once the mobs have gone back to their starting positions these classes can try to resurrect a healer whom will then be able to resurrect the entire party or raid. This way you will save your group a lot of time traveling and rezing.

Specs for Engineers

An Engineer, similar to a Blacksmith or a Tailor, can specialize in different fields of his profession. This happens once you gain 200 skill levels. It can be either Gnomish Engineering or Goblin Engineering. What is different about these two specializations is the place where you end up when you use the teleportation device and the trinket. Gnomish Engineers have Transporter - Gadgetzan and Transporter - Toshley’s Station while Goblin Engineers have Dimensional Ripper - Everlook and Dimensional Ripper - Area 52.

Engineering since the latest expansion

The latest WOTLK expansion resulted in a positive change when it comes to all professions. Reason for this is that Engineers can now make motorcycles! The Mekgineer’s Chopper is a schematic available for the Alliance players while Mechano-hog is a schematic available for the Horde players. Gatherting all the materials for this beautiful mount can be quite a pain but in the end you can get an amazing mount.

Engineers can craft many crazy gadgets but pets are surely their most fun creations. An Engineer can create two “BoP” pets Lil’ Smoky which leaves a smoke trace wherever he goes and Pet Bombling which, of course, is a bomb alike pet. With the soon release of Band Hero coming to the UK on the DS the question that must be asked is are these games getting to much and is there really a demand for them?

Well when it was announced that Guitar Hero was on its way to the DS there was actually a bit of excitement as it was the first time that a game like this had made its way onto a hand held console. This game with its problems and it is these problems that still need fixing.

The major problem that this game actually has is that when you are trying to play it the peripherals are not designed very well so it ends up really hurting the hands. It has still not been proved that if you were to play this game all the time that it would actually damage the hands but when it gets to the point where you have to stop playing because of the pain then you know something isn’t right. Another problem was the fact that you couldn’t pick a favourite guitar to use like the Gibson Les Paul Junior

When the drum add on came into the game it started to get slightly better as you didnt always have to go around hurting yourself when you played the game, however the add on wasnt needed as you could just use the screen.

People are interested in playing the guitar instrument on the DSi and this is still not happening despite the new release of Band Hero? Well it’s the same old same old really with the ability to sing too which is going to please everyone on the bus I’m sure.

How long is it before they start to introduce silly things like DJ equipment and a bass guitar amp.

Emphasizing jobs in Mafia Wars is one of the methods to level up rapidly and safely.  If safety isn’t your priority, and being hitlisted, iced and/or whacked constantly is part of the fun, you can get leveling fast with fighting and robbing, too.  Revenge is not a worry when you are pursuing jobs to collect your leveling experience points.

Leveling mojo (aka, experience points!) isn’t the only thing jobs deliver.  Loot drops and cash money come from jobs, also.  Loot drops will sometimes deliver equipment you can use to arm your mafia.  It could be a weapon, armor, or a vehicle in the loot drop.  The loot drops may deliver collection items, too.  Think about the money as a way to acquire more Mafia Mike’s so that you can upkeep all that new equipment, and jobs will have set you up perfectly to dominate Mafia Wars.

Don’t forget you’ll get skill points each time you “master” a given job and job tier.  And that’s major if you need to reinforce your profile.  When you’re looking to power level, you’ll put those points into energy.  If not, you could use them to reinforce any of your personal stats that seem to be weak.

The first job tier in Mafia Wars is Street thug, so let’s use that for our discussion.  The job tiers are linked with certain levels, also.  When you’re in level one thru four, Street Thug is your intended tier.  The top job tier in the NYC venue of Mafia Wars is Boss and that’s for level 100+. The jobs in Street Thug tier are as follows (including job ratio): Mugging (1); Corner Store Hold-Up (1); Warehouse Robbery (1); Auto Theft (1.14); Beat Up Rival Gangster (1); Rob A Pimp (1); Collect On A Loan (1).

That’s the initial group of jobs designed for you as a newbie.  In order to go to mastery in the next tier, you’ll need to master every job at least one time.  But you can skip around if you attain the level assoicated with the tier. You can access any job tier you have the level for, but it’s easier if you’ve mastered the previous tiers.  Jobs will increase in difficulty (prep jobs, consumables, crew needed) and consume more energy as you move up the tiers toward Boss.

Back to our Street Thug discussion, you’ll want to master each job in the tier.  Get used to choosing the best Mafia Wars jobs ratio right away by choosing Auto Theft!  Mastering Auto Theft is going to require that you repeat it a bunch of times.  You’ll see a blue bar that indicates how you’re progressing in mastering the job.  Once it’s a solid blue, you’ve mastered Auto Theft.  You should get your skill point for mastering  Auto Theft for the 1st time.

Do the same for all the jobs in the tier and you’ll have mastered the tier for the first time.  You earn another skill point and a special title for your character.  ”Street Thug MWname” is your earned title.

Don’t send the jobs in a tier off the roster once you’ve attained mastery!  Certain jobs have especially sexy loot, money, or experience.  Some jobs are worth working even when you’ve leveled out of the tier and mastered it.  Street Thug tier isn’t particularly packed with the good job yields, but if you need the .22 pistol or 9mm semi, or one of the Diamond cards for a collection, you’ll only find them in this tier’s loot!

Going through mastery for each job a second time is worth the energy.  Earn yourself a better title – Skilled Street Thug – more skill points, and a five percent increase in loot drops.

The 3rd time through mastery of Street Thug and you become “Master Street Thug,” with even more skill points.  Add a 10% increase in those loot drops.  And the real reward – you get five percent experience bonus for any Street Thug job you do from now on.

Working through 3x through the specific tier mastery also gets you a 1x bonus item.  The bonus item for Street Thug 3x mastery is the Pistol Bayonet; it improves the amount of damage you deliver in a fight by four percent.  Mastery bonus items are usually pretty excellent.

Consider this: Completing all NYC jobs to the 3rd cycle of mastery will earn you two hundred nineteen skill points by the time you complete Boss in Mafia Wars!  Wicked cool!

Where do gamers go?

The choices you have as a gamer are:

1. Buy (Online, Ebay, used, Gamestop..)
2. Rent (Gamefly, blockbuster…)
3. Trade (Goozex, Switchplanet..)

Renting in the past at your brick and mortar rental place can easily set you back more then $5-$7 every week like Blockbuster. Many places like Gamefly charge a monthly service fee. Renting isn’t all together bad but playing videogames isn’t like watching movies. There is a considerable larger amount of time invested in videogames then in movies. Most movies range from 1.5 hours to epics of 6 hours. Where most videogames you could get a good feel for a game in 3 hours but most sports games and long role playing games could be played for more then 70 hours.

This is where Goozex Game Trading steps in. Goozex allows the gamer to keep the game as long as you want but have the option to sell it too. There is only a $1 transaction fee if you request a game on their network. So basically you can trade in your older games and build up Goozex credit until you get enough for a newer title and just pay the $1 transaction fee. A shipping and handling is handled by sender and the buyer only pays . There is no monthly membership so you can stop at anytime or go at a slower pace. This is ideal in the sense that you could play the game until you are actually sick of it then send it in for credit. So you’re not rushed to get as many games played on the network because you can play at your own pace. Plus you OWN the game. From then on the game is yours, not a rental.

You only send games directly to the next member. There is no single central warehouse and the pricing of the credits of the system are in points (100pts = $5). The pricing of the game is determined by market demand, release date, initial cost of the game, and a couple other factors. Most xbox 360 titles will go for 800-1000 pts which translates to $40-$50. This isn’t bad for a used game. Some money can be saved buying used but there is still tax and travel time/cost. Goozex gives you free shipping to you with no tax charge. You also have an option to buy credits if you want but I wouldn’t recommend that unless you have no games to send in or nothing of yours is being requested. Price fluctuations occur and you can see the points swings. I’ve had a couple games I requested and I can see that price increase/decrease. It doesn’t happen that much but some games change +/- 200pts depending on market demand.

So why use Goozex instead of a used videogame store or an auction site with games like Ebay? You just need $1 to pay for the transaction fee. Most people don’t like to continually shell out more money for a game and then feel like the games they bought are depreciating at a very fast rate. Selling your game for cash anywhere will not give you that much. Brick and mortar stores resell your games for a huge mark up. Selling it online at an auction site will incur fees and you still have to pay for shipping. Goozex at least you get to trade in games you are done with and still get some value out of it as it will lead to other games you really want. There might be more difficulty in sending older sports titles as those don’t have much demand once their season is up like trying to sending in EA sports Madden 2005 will be a hard game to sell to someone on the network. Even if you were to put it older games on ebay you will have a hard to moving it and you will have to pay per insertion. On Goozex you will be able to list it and it will just stay there without having to pay insertion fees.

Each videogame is packed with information like reviews from Gamepro, some tips/trick, game description, and some even have instructions. The best feature is the ability to see how many copies of a game are listed on the network verses how many are being requested. This will let you know if you have a game people want or if you can possibly get a game on the network. Goozex determines who gets the game by matching up users. There is a waiting list that is generated and when you add a game you will see in what place you are waiting for that game. You get a good feel to when you will get a game. There is also a distinction between games you want now and games you have for holding. Both will show you your place in line so you’re not forced to get every game you want now. This is a good way to build up a wishlist and then have your core set of games your really want now. It is ideal to have a very large set of games you want now so you will have a very good chance of getting a game soon. I was requesting Crackdown for the Xbox 360 and I was 60th person in line. I got this game in 14 days. Just because you’re really deep in line doesn’t mean you won’t get the game soon. The system can deliver newer games in a short amount of time which is a huge bonus for gamers that want to play newer games but don’t want to buy them at the store. You have many options to what you want to trade in terms of instructions, case or just game. This is helpful as some gamers tend to lose instructions and/or cases. The value of the game doesn’t go down as the credits don’t reflect what is included. This is because the user requesting the game can have the option to request only full packaged games, games with instructions, or just the game itself. I have not had a problem with getting full packages as I’ve gotten over 49 games and I’ve sent out 54 in under 2 years of being there.

Why NOT to use

For this site to be a perfect 5 star site I would like to see:

1. More users (will there ever be enough?)
2. More retro gaming console support (nes, snes, saturn….)
3. Sure isn’t free but man it’s 4 quarters. I’m a member of another site that has no transaction fees yet still protects the members.
4. Video game trailers for each game
5. More user interaction like user reviews and tournaments…)

All the above are small tweaks to the system that is already very functional. The main reason someone would NOT want to use this system is time and money. If you have money why wouldn’t you just buy the game new down the street? Why wait? Saving money and the community are the main draws to the system. Save money and also connect with other gamers. If your very impatient then new release games will have to be purchased. Most new release games takes on average of 1-2 months. Why? You are placed on a Que. The order of the Que determines when you get the new game, but more importantly is how many are available? Most will eventually get bored of their new game and will send them out as “have” games. That could be more time than one might want to wait. Say you want a popular game that normally runs 40 hours to complete. You gotta factor in that a player like me would take over 1 month to beat a game like that. More popular games of course like Madden will hit the system quicker but that is also a bad thing. If you hold a game too long it will depreciate in value just like on the streets. Trading for early on might be for 1000 points but in a couple months with the market being saturated it could be 500 points in no time losing half of it’s value. Not entirely the fault of the system but some games just won’t move depending on your timing.

Enchanting is not the easiest profession to level in Wow, to contrary. However, it will bring a wide number of benefits to those persistent enough to max it. Disenchanting Ability

When you choose Enchanting as one of your primary professions you will also get the ability to disenchant items. Any uncommon, rare and epic item you don’t need, even if it is SB (soulbound) you will be able to disenchant into valuable essences, shards or dust. The items you will get with disenchanting are used for enchanting other items and are also quite valuable, which means that you can sell them on the Auction House and make a nice profit. 

Gear is constantly being changed. You will change a great number of gear sets through your leveling process, but also when you reach the end level. With the new dungeons and raids, new tier sets, etc. your need for improvement will just grow. Any item that you wore will become useless once you get a new and better one, and all you can do is sell it to the vendor for a small amount of gold. By disenchanting the item instead, you will be able to collect valuable items that will enable you to use it for enchanting of your new gear.

Benefits of Enchanting

With Enchanting you will be able to further enhance statistics of your characters’ items. Still, there are benefits available to Enchanters only, such as ring enchants. Regardless of their class or specialization, everyone can benefit from these rings enchants, available solely to Enchanters. Caster classes, both dps and healers receive a great boost through these enchants and many players pick up Enchanting solely because of this unique ability.

What does an Enchanter need for his work?

Every Enchanter will need a trainer to learn the new skills from. Trainers of this profession are located in all of the Azeroth, Northrend and Outland major cities. Enchanting Rod is the next thing that you will require. At certain skill levels as he improves, the Enchanter will need to acquire the improved Enchanting Rod as well. Enchanters can make those rods by themselves, although they will need to acquire the appropriate Fel Iron, Arcanite, Titanium, Adamantite or some other type of rod from a Blacksmith player.

How to obtain Enchanting mats

Main source of materials for an Enchanter is his disenchanting skill. Still, in order to come in the possession of the required uncommon or rare items, a player will need to farm a lot or to buy these items from the AH. Naturally, this process is very time-consuming and costly. The best solution for an Enchanter is to pair this profession it with some crafting profession such as Tailoring. Tailoring requires a lot of cloth for crafting the final products. However, cloth is very easy to farm, making the combination of these two professions an ideal solution.

Is Enchanting Profitable?

Enchanting can bring you some nice profit, whether you decide to sell the products of disenchanting on the Auction House, or to offer your enchanting services to other players for a fee. If you decide to offer your skills for sale, you will get opportunity to charge more for your work if you have higher level enchants available. Profit from disenchanting will be easy and assured, as other players are always in need for the materials to be able to enchant their own items.
